I read through some of your posts and noticed ...Hi. I read through some of your posts and noticed that you profiled two of my wines: Marchesi di Grésy Nebbiolo and Romitorio Brunello. You mentioned that you were interested in Italian wines. I would be happy to make some recommendations for wine and dinner for your D.C. trips. I live in Dupont and we do business with many of the finest restaurants in town. Many of the best places are little known to those that do not live here.

We were showing another Grésy wine at Emerson this week. The Dolcetto "Monte Aribaldo". Were you there? Jim, at J. Emerson, also purchased a six-pack of the Marchesi di Grésy Barbaresco "Camp Gros" 1996. Only two places south of the District received this wine.

Please let me know if you were at the tasting and if I might recommend a stop or two for your next trip to D.C.

Cheers,
John Grimsley
john@grappoligroup.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
